Campbell River is reviewing applications for a 67 unit Manufactured Home Park on a 7.9 acre property on the north side of the city. The applicant is hopeful that Phase 1 could be completed by the end of this year.
Ucluelet: $7 million in funding received for the District’s Water Treatment System Upgrades.
District of Ucluelet has received $7,039,680 in funding towards the District’s Water Treatment System Upgrades project. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2022. Timelines for the release of tenders have yet to be determined.
Port Alberni: The City has purchased 43-acre to revitalize the downtown area.
Port Alberni has purchased the 43-acre Somass lands to revitalize the downtown area. Conceptual site plans show a mix of residential and light industrial development, including food processing, and a permanently accessible waterfront.
