Apprenticeship Advisor for Vancouver Island
Vancouver Island is now being serviced by an Industry Training Authority (ITA) Apprenticeship Advisor, Doug Podetz who is able to provide support and guidance on elements of apprenticeship. He is encouraging apprentices and candidates who are working in a trade field but wish to acquire trade certification to contact him with any questions they might have. Candidates interested in pursuing a career in the trades can contact him for information.
Completion of an apprenticeship has several components to acquiring a trade certification. Doug can help to supply the information so that the apprenticeship components are addressed when seeking a specific trade certification. An Apprenticeship Advisor can also help to supply information regarding government grants, tax credits and the future steps required to complete your apprenticeship components.
