Around Town: Proposed Changes to the Development Cost Charges (DCCs) for Water and Sewer
In April 2017, the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) completed a technical study to review DCCs for both water and sewer. Koers and Associates completed the study and reviewed population estimates within the serviced communities and upcoming capital projects for the next ten years. Population estimates were determined based on the recently completed DCC Update Studies for both the City of Courtenay and the Town of Comox.
The recommended DCCs from the reports are summarized in the table.
