BC Transit has issued a tender to perform Site Preloading of the Main Building outline at the proposed BC Transit-Campbell River Operations and Maintenance Facility, located at 1235 Evergreen, Campbell River, BC. This tender is for site preparation for the proposed BC Transit Campbell River Operations & Maintenance Facility.
BC Transit has issued a tender to perform Site Preloading of the Main Building outline at the proposed BC Transit-Campbell River Operations and Maintenance Facility, located at 1235 Evergreen, Campbell River, BC.
The tender consists of all work indicated as per Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP), Geotechnical Preloading and Civil contract drawings. In general, work is to focus mainly on the preloaded areas to include the removal of existing soils under main building footprint and subsequent preloading of main building area with engineered material fills as per Geotechnical drawings. All other areas are to be maintained in the condition they were found.
A non-mandatory site tour has been arranged to begin at 11:00 a.m . on February 9, 2018 at the site to visit and examine the works. The general contractors or their agents shall register their presence on a sign-in sheet with the Owner at the site tour stating the name of the contractor they represent.
