The BC Construction Association has created a website for construction employers and job seekers. Builders Life TalentCentral launched in June to ease the hiring process by offering BC construction employers the ability to post job openings.

According to the report, despite a challenging economic climate marked by rising borrowing costs and market uncertainties, small and medium-size construction enterprises have demonstrated remarkable resilience to maintain stability in the marketplace.

BC Hydro is launching their customer civil registration program with early registration now open. Effective September 1, BC Hydro suppliers will be required to hire a contractor who’s part of the registered civil contractor list for all construction of civil works on public or private property.
