Editor’s Note
A ground breaking ceremony will take place today, July 3 from 10am until 11am at the intersection near Alder and Beech. The City of Campbell River will announce the start of construction on the St Ann’s Upgrades which will revitalize the area between 10th Avenue and St Ann’s, including Alder, Beech and Dubeau.
A development permit has been approved for a four-storey, 47 unit building that will be located on 2nd Avenue. Surface parking will be provided. A building permit is expected to be made in the next month for this project.
The Town of Comox is planning to replace several buildings in their Municipal Works Yard (1390 Guthrie Road) with new facilities. Civil engineering companies wishing to be considered to provide on-site civil engineering services to this project should contact tRDH Building Engineering Ltd. for an information package related to this REOI. The scope of work will address on-site water, sanitary, storm, electrical, and gas design as well as paving. Expressions of interest must be received (by email) by 2 P.M. July 8, 2013.
