2013 Campbell River Third-Quarter Construction Stats Up 114% Over 2012
Campbell River’s construction statistics for the third quarter of 2013 are a whopping 114% higher when compared to the third quarter of 2012. Construction values have declined in Comox, Courtenay, Cumberland, and the CVRD during the same time period, with combined total values of $51.7 million. This is an interesting statistic, as it shows that Campbell River has $39 million more in construction values than the four municipalities in the Comox Valley.
City of Campbell River Awards Tender for New Water-System Supply Main
Stantec Consulting Ltd. has been awarded the tender to complete a detailed design of the City of Campbell River’s new water-system supply main from the approximate location of the city’s future intake structure at John Hart Lake to the intersection of Highway 28 and BC Hydro Surge Tower Road.
