The City of Courtenay is working on filling four vacancies in the Development Services Department.

The position of Director of Development Services will be filled by Marianne Wade on April 24, 2023. Marianne is a professional planner by training and has extensive senior management experience with municipalities in BC and in the private sector on the development side of the equation. 

While efforts are underway to address other vacancies, the Development Services department remains understaffed, which will continue to impact services, response times, and application processing. Continued patience is appreciated.
