The Campbell River Golf and Country Club now open to the public
The expansion and redevelopment of the Campbell River Golf and Country Club golf course is now complete, and the course opened to the public on August 9. The driving range is expected to be open at the end of August.
New $60 million wastewater treatment plant planned for District of Tofino
The District of Tofino is moving ahead to build its first wastewater treatment plant. Applications to apply for grant funding are now underway, as the project is estimated to cost $60,000,000. A loan authorization bylaw is at third reading which will allow the municipality to borrow money for the project.
Knappett Industries (2006) Ltd. awarded contract for Biosolids Composting Facility Expansion
The Comox Valley Regional District has awarded a tender for Biosolids Composting Facility Expansion to Knappett Industries (2006) Ltd. at a value of $5,184,302.
