CVRD seeking proposals for development of the Comox Valley Waste Management Centre
The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is seeking proposals for the development of the Comox Valley waste management centre (CVWMC) site strategy masterplan. This will include a review of the current operations and capital projects at the CVWMC as well as future operational and capital requirements. See our tender section for more details.
Construction underway at Campbell River Hospice
Construction is well underway for the new Hospice at 440 Evergreen Road in Campbell River. Phase I is approximately 2,450 sq. ft. in size and will include the administration area, office and an area for clients. The City of Campbell River donated the land for this project. Phase I of the Hospice is expected to be complete in the next four to five months.
Subdivision application for Phase V at Copperfield Ridge submitted
Phase IV at Copperfield Ridge in Courtenay consists of 20 lots and the site construction has been completed for this phase of the project. Registration is expected to be completed in September and new home builds are expected to begin immediately. All 20 lots have been sold to builders and have been zoned single family homes. An additional subdivision application to create 18 new residential lots (Phase 5) has been received by the City of Courtenay and a Preliminary Layout Review has been approved. Construction on this phase is expected to begin in the spring of 2017.
