CVRD plans $19 million project to update Comox Valley water pollution control centre, tender process may start in 2017
 The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) has agreed to proceed with nearly $19 million in capacity and affluent upgrades to the Comox Valley water pollution control centre (CVWPCC). The project has been incorporated into the 10-year capital plan and will be delivered over the next two years. It is expected a competitive process for an engineer will occur in February of 2017, and construction in late 2017.
Powell River council is applying for a federal grant for a consolidated wastewater treatment plant
City of Powell River council has voted to support an application to a federal grant program to pay for the first two phases of the city’s consolidated wastewater treatment plant. Council endorsed a grant application of up to $13 million in mid November
Construction on the Raw Water Lake Intake project in Campbell River is expected to be substantially complete this week
Construction on the Raw Water Lake Intake project in Campbell River is nearing completion and is expected to be substantially complete this week, one week ahead of schedule.The budget for this project was $7.4 million.
