Defence Construction Canada is moving forward with a multi-million dollar plan to update Hangar #7 at 19 Wing Comox.
Defence Construction Canada is moving forward with plans to update Hangar #7 at 19 Wing Comox. Staff are defining the final project management requirements, and hope to have a construction management tender ready for release in May. This project is estimated to cost $7 million per year for the next five years for a total budget of approximately $35 million.
Site clearing is underway near Walmart for 3 new buildings. The plans include commercial units and approximately 122 residential suites.
Site clearing for a mixed multi-residential/commercial development at 3040 and 3070 Kilpatrick Avenue in Courtenay is underway. Council gave fourth and final reading for the project in December. The project includes a 70-unit residential building, a mixed-use commercial and a 52-unit residential building, and the third building will contain one commercial unit.
A new five-storey multi-family building is planned for Dogwood Street South.
Campbell River City Council has approved a development permit application for a new five-storey, 68-unit multi-family building on Dogwood Street South. The building is designed to include 16 one bedroom, and 52 two bedroom-two bathroom suites.
