Comox Valley Regional District office building is expected to go to tender in late spring
The new Comox Valley Regional District regional office building is expected to proceed to tender in late spring. Preparation of construction documents has begun and staff intend to go to the board with costs in April of this year and hope to seek authorization to proceed to tender at the same time. This project was proposed in 2016 at which time costs were estimated to be $11.7 million.
Campbell River has approved a Major Development Permit for a multi-storey apartment building
Campbell River city council has approved a Major Development Permit for a multi-storey apartment building located on the South Island Highway. The building includes approximately 90 residential units and 72 integrated parking stalls beneath the building.
Construction on a new Broadstock Facility within the Comox Valley Regional District will begin soon
Construction on a new Broadstock Facility within the Comox Valley Regional District expected to begin soon. Kinetic Construction Ltd. was issued a building permit this week, valued of $2.6 million. The full budget for this facility is approximately $5 million.
