Five Bids for Hangar 7 Repairs at 19 Wing Comox
Defence Construction Canada received five bids ranging in value from $3,514,940 to $3,958,000 for Hangar 7 Repairs. The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to carry out extensive roof repairs/resurfacing and re-side the East and West Walls of Hangar 7. This contract is expected to awarded within the next week.
CRD Pre-Qualifying Construction Firms for New Hornby Island Fire Hall
The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is accepting submissions from qualified construction firms that are interested in pre-qualifying to provide services for the construction of a new fire hall on Hornby Island, BC. It is the CVRD’s intent to pre-qualify up to seven construction firms. This tender closes July 23; see our tender section for more information.
School District #71 Issues RFP for Seismic Upgrade of G.P. Vanier Secondary
School District #71 (SD71) received a signed project agreement worth $33.8 million for the partial replacement of and seismic upgrades to Georges P. Vanier last week. SD71 has now issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to obtain proposals from qualified consultants to provide services for architectural, interior design, structural, electrical, mechanical, acoustical, and code consulting during the design, construction and post construction stages of a hybrid seismic mitigation and upgrade project. This tender closes August 21; see our tender section for more information.
