New tender out this week for Greenwood Trunk Sanitary Sewer in Courtenay
The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms for the provision of engineering services for the detailed design of the Greenwood Trunk Sanitary Sewer in Courtenay. This tender closes August 24th.
Contract for Hudson Trunk Sanitary Sewer Upgrade has been awarded to Wacor Holdings Ltd
Comox Valley Regional District has awarded the tender for the Hudson Trunk Sanitary Sewer Upgrade to Wacor Holdings Ltd. This project will involve the construction of the Hudson Trunk Sanitary Sewer Upgrade. The Hudson trunk project involves the installation of a gravity trunk sewer extending from the eastern boundary of the City of Courtenay near Idiens Way and the northern boundary of the Town of Comox near Hector Road.
Port Alberni is moving ahead with planning for the Liquid Waste Management Plan
Planning and design work for the City of Port Alberni’s Liquid Waste Management Plan (LWMP) continues, in conjunction with work to finalize the plan and submit to the Ministry of Environment for final approval. The city anticipates some tenders for implementation and construction of the Lagoon Facility, the first major component of the new LWMP, in 2017. The total cost for the upgrade of the sewage treatment facility is estimated at $27.7 million. The project is expected to be completed by 2020.
