Campbell River has approved a development permit for a 51 unit apartment with commercial space in Willow Point

A development permit application has been approved for a proposed four-storey mixed-use building at 2036 Island Highway South, Campbell River. The project as proposed includes 4353 sq. ft. of retail or office space at the ground floor with 51 apartment units above.

Comox has approved a rezoning application for proposed 84 unit residential project on Anderton Road

The Town of Comox gave second reading, with amendments, to the rezoning application for a proposed 84 unit, four-storey residential project at 618 and 634 Anderton Road. The subject properties are currently vacant and total approximately 9,330 square metres in size. A public hearing has been scheduled for April 4 at d’Esterre House, 1801 Beaufort Avenue, at 7:00 pm.

Port Hardy’s $13 million multiplex pool project is moving forward

The District of Port Hardy’s multiplex pool project will move forward once council approves the logistics. The new pool is expected to include a hot tub, swimming lanes, a lazy river area, on deck seating, a 2,000 sq.ft. upper floor with a viewing area of the pool, and more. The overall project was estimated in 2017 to cost approximately $13.6 million.
