Kinetic awarded tender for low rise apartments buildings at 19 Wing Comox
Kinetic Construction has been awarded the design build/contract to provide the necessary services for the complete design and construction of all aspects of the low rise apartment buildings at 19 Wing Comox. Detailed design is now underway and the construction drawings should be completed by the end of August. Construction is expected to start in September.
Comox Valley Airport Commission issues tender for building construction
The Comox Valley Airport Commission (CVAC) invites Tenders for the T16-02 Project for the construction of a building for their maintenance staff and equipment plus associated civil works. This project involves work for CVAC at 1250 Knight Road in Comox as detailed on the drawings and specifications. The budget for this project is approximately $200,000 and this tender closes on June 13.
CVRD holding open house on Comox Lake water treatment options
The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is holding a public open house on May 26 from 4:30 to 7:30 pm for an update on Comox Lake water treatment options. The open house is an opportunity to learn what CVRD staff heard from the options evaluation engagement process in March, review recommended treatment options, provide input to refine recommendations, and clarify technical/operational considerations stemming from the recommendations.
