Zoning for 79-unit apartment on Braidwood in Courtenay approved
Courtenay council approved a zoning amendment application for a 79-unit apartment building on Braidwood Avenue. A development permit application has been submitted and Veyron Properties Group Ltd. hopes to start construction in early 2019.
Construction of Built Green solar-ready homes in Powell River continues
Construction on Powell River’s first ecologically designed solar homes continue. The 12 unit side-by-side duplexes are receiving Built Green Platinum certification with solar panels meeting each units electricity needs. Demand has been strong with the 3 bedroom units selling in the range of $350,000.
