School District #71 awards tender for partial replacement of Vanier school
School District #71 (SD71) has awarded the tender for consultants to provide services for architectural, interior design, structural, electrical, mechanical, acoustical, and code consulting during the partial replacement and seismic upgrade of Georges P. Vanier School in Courtenay to Iredale Group Architecture.  Design and planning will begin immediately, with the expectation that the project will be tender ready for sub-trades by March of 2016.
Development permit application submitted for townhouse project in Courtenay
A development permit application submitted by Nicon Developments Ltd.has been approved for a 33 unit townhouse project in Courtenay on Lake Trail Road. Working drawings are nearing completion. A building permit application is expected to be submitted soon for Phase I of the project which will include eight units. The units are approximately 1,350 sq. ft. in size. Construction is expected to begin once all approvals are in place.
City of Campbell River awards tender for structural repairs at Maritime Heritage Centre
The City of Campbell River has awarded the tender to undertake structural repairs to an exterior deck at the Maritime Heritage Centre in the City of Campbell River to Knappett Projects Inc.
