Open House for Marina Park Vitalization Project Schedule for this Wednesday
The Town of Comox will be holding an open house for the Marina Park Vitalization Project today, Wednesday, September 9 from 6 to 8pm at D’Esterre House at 1801 Beaufort Avenue in Comox. The intent is to give the citizens of the Town of Comox an update on the project. Staff and the architect will be on hand to provide information and to answer questions about the project.
City of Port Alberni Issues Two Tenders for Construction
The City of Port Alberni has issued two tenders this week. The City is inviting tenders from qualified contractors for the seismic upgrades to two pump stations at the following sites: 3703 – 4th Avenue and 4150 – 6th Avenue, Port Alberni. A group site visit is planned for Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 11:00 am. The second tender is for the bridge widening of Gertrude Road over Kitsuksis Creek. This tender closes September 23rd; see our tender section for more information on both of these projects.
BC Housing Management Commission Awards Tender for Group Home in Courtenay
BC Housing Management Commission has awarded the tender to construct a new fully accessible five bedroom single-storey dwelling for the use as a residential group home at 2847 Gatehouse Place, Courtenay to Kinetic Construction. The size of the building is 3,073 square feet.
