Seven Standing Offers issued by 19 Wing/CFB Comox
We have 12 new tenders in this issue, including seven Standing Offers posted by 19 Wing / CFB Comox. They are seeking bids for the following: electrical, painting, concrete, foundation, asphalt, masonry carpentry, roofing, hardwood floors, tile, resilient sheet flooring and carpet, landscaping, tree service, grass cutting and snow removal, heating, ventilation & air conditioning & plumbing and cleaning. All of the Standing Offers close on February 9th.
New Dairy Queen Restaurant to be built in Campbell River
A building permit application is now expected to be made in early February to house the new Dairy Queen store at 1250 Dogwood between 12th and 13th Avenues in Campbell River. Once the permit has been issued, construction is scheduled to begin in March. The building is 2,800 sq. ft. in size and will feature a drive through lane.
Village Hall meeting to be held in Cumberland on Feb. 1
The Village of Cumberland is hosting a Village Hall meeting. Bring your suggestions, concerns, complaints or appreciation to the Village Hall meeting on Monday, February 1 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, located between the Fire Hall and the Village Office. The purpose of Village Hall meetings is to give residents an opportunity to bring forward matters for discussion with council members. The Council does not make decisions or debate matters at Village Hall meetings.
