BC Hydro releases timeline for $100 million Strathcona Dam Upgrade
BC Hydro has confirmed a possible project timeline for the estimated $100 million Strathcona Dam Upgrade, west of Campbell River, and released predevelopment information for the estimated $10 million Puntledge River Flow Management Project in Courtenay. Regulatory processes for the Strathcona Dam, such as BC Utilities Commission, are expected in 2019/2020, with construction tenders for the Puntledge River Project expected in 2020.

Defence Construction Canada is calling for local contractors to become pre-qualified to be on a Source list for Quick Response Tenders for Underground Civil Construction and Mechanical Contractor at 19 Wing, CFB Comox.
The Village of Cumberland moving forward with approximately $4 million Fire Hall Replacement Project
The Village of Cumberland is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide pre-construction and construction management services for a Fire Hall Replacement Project. The total maximum construction budget for the project is $4 Million.
