Habitat for Humanity #BidtoBuild in this week’s Around Town
On June 10, Habitat for Humanity Vancouver Island North will launch their new #BidtoBuild online auction, with help from presenting sponsor Brando Construction.
From June 10 to 19, you can participate in virtual bidding on over 150 items, including gift cards, experiences, and getaways generously donated by local businesses and professionals.
Proceeds from #BidtoBuild2024 will support upfront development costs for Habitat’s upcoming project at 461Hilchey Road in Campbell River, as well as refurbishments for previous Habitat homeowners’ homes.
Last year, #BidtoBuild raised $36,000 towards safe, affordable homes in Vancouver Island North.
Also, Campbell River will be holding a Customer Appreciation Day on June 8 with demonstrations, door prices, discounts, and more.
