Site Construction Expected to Begin in Early September at the New Tim Horton’s Restaurant Location in Courtenay

Site construction is expected to begin early in September for the new site that will be home to the new Tim Horton’s restaurant at the Home Depot Parking lot in Courtenay. The owner is currently finalizing details of site construction with a local contractor. Construction of the new Tim Horton’s building is expected to begin next week. Warm Valley Contracting Ltd. from Duncan will be the builder for the new Tim Horton’s restaurant.
A construction start date has been scheduled for the end of September for the new residential building that will contain 14 luxury condominiums at Harbour Centre. A building permit has been issued in the amount of $3.84 million by the Town of Comox. This building will be located adjacent to the new Harbour Centre commercial building that has just been completed and is now 65% leased.
Smith “N” Gordon Drywall Corp. was awarded the drywall contract for the Seniors Housing Facility at Berwick by the Sea, while J. Dias Masonry was awarded the masonry contract. The tender for outside and inside painting is expected to be released in the next week or two.
