City of Powell River staff are preparing a report for council on a new 225 residential development with a mix of detached single family and townhomes. The developer is requesting to have two Nootka Street properties totalling 38.7 acres annexed into the city boundaries to allow for a density of approximately 5.9 units per acre.
Crowne Pacific seeking expressed interest for sub trades for new apartment building in Campbell River
Crowne Pacific Development is looking for expressed interest from all subtrades for a 51 unit four-storey apartment building in Campbell River. The units are proposed to include a mix of micro and studio apartments and one bedroom suites ranging from 312 to 680 sq.ft.
Development permit for 209 unit Senior Housing complex on Cliffe Avenue in Courtenay under review
City of Courtenay staff are reviewing a development permit with variances for Golden Life Management’s proposed 209 unit Senior Housing complex on Cliffe Avenue. The applicant is requesting a height variance on a portion of one building from 4 storeys to 5 storeys and a parking variance.
