Campbell River: Jubilee Heights has submitted an application for another 52Â lots.
Jubilee Heights in Campbell River has submitted a subdivision application for another 52 lots. This is Phase 6 of them project. Servicing and road works for Phase 5 with 43 lots is underway with the detailed engineer design approved a few months ago. These lots will be released/registered later this year. Phases 1,2 and 4 are sold out. Phase 3 of this project is a Commercial Village. Development details for the Commercial Village are yet to be announced.
Oyster Bay: SRD approved rezoning for a 165-hectare rural subdivision.
Strathcona Regional District has approved rezoning for a 165-hectare 34-lot low density, rural subdivision in Oyster Bay. The project consists of 8 separate parcels situated near the Island Highway. The lots would vary from 2 to 24 hectares and be centered around an equestrian facility with riding and biking trails. Servicing would be by individual septic fields and wells. The development proposal also includes a full-service tac shop, a viniculture operation and small-scale agriculture with farm-gate sales.
Comox: Final approval for 71 homes is expected within the next few weeks.
Final approval for 71 homes in Comox is expected within the next few weeks. This approval will allow for all aspects of Phase 2 to move forward. This phase includes: four duplexes (eight units), 28 single-family lots, a 22-unit townhouse site and 13 patio home/bare-land strata lots. Construction on the duplexes is expected to be underway in the next few months. Some of the single-family homes will be zoned to accommodate secondary suites and/or carriage homes. Approximately 50% of the lots have been reserved. Prices of the remaining lots are expected to range from $374,900 to $559,900. Ryan McQueen Builders will be managing the townhouse project and Halo Homes will be building the duplexes.
