Step Code Tip
There are two EnerGuide evaluation services for new homes. The Pre-Construction Evaluation is completed during the design stage and is used to help make choices on the design, materials and construction techniques that can be utilized to achieve the desired Step Code Level. The Post Construction Evaluation can be done up to 6 months after occupancy and is used to determine the “as built” efficiency of the building.
