Port Hardy: The Canadian Coast Guard is moving forward with the development of a 10,800 sq.ft. Logistics Depot. 

Port Hardy has approved a development permit varience for a new 10,800 sq.ft. Logistics Depot for the Canadian Coast Guard for the development of a new on Jensen Cove Road. The proposed development is expected to include warehouse storage, office and training space, accommodations, and a small boat maintenance area.

Courtenay: A development permit has been approved for the new Hyundai dealership near Crown Isle.

Courtenay has approved a development permit application for a new 14,713 sq.ft. two-storey Hyundai dealership near Crown Isle. 

North Island:  Funding has been announced for roof, heating, and lighting upgrades to 7 schools. 

The Province has announced nearly $5 million for new buses and roof, heating, and lighting upgrades to seven schools in Cambpell River, Gold River, Kyuquot, Tahsis, and Port McNeill.
