The North Island College has submitted a business case for final funding approval on a new estimated $28 million Comox Valley Student Housing project. As proposed, the project will include 148 single student accommodations and 20 units for students with families.
Powell River: A development permit for a four building, 22 residential complex approved.
The City of Powell River has approved a development permit for Joyce Commons. The applicant intents to build four buildings with a total of 22 residential units.
CFB Comox: Kinetic Construction has tender packages ready to release for 1st phase Hangar 7 upgrade.
Kinetic Construction, working as Construction Managers, has tender packages ready to release for the 1st phase of the upgrade of Hangar 7. This 1st Work Package is valued at approximately $2 million, pending funding approval in April. and includes the installation of showers, toilets and locker rooms.
