Campbell River: Rezoning application for 60-unit rental apartment building.
The City is reviewing the application from WestUrban Developments for a purpose-built 60-unit rental apartment building on the Island Highway. The development is proposed as four-storeys with a mix of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom units.
Comox: Building permit submitted for 208 unit multi-residential and commercial development.
A building permit application has been submitted for Aspen View, a multi-residential and commercial development that will include 208 rental and condominium units and commercial space. This project will include 208 units in four, four-storey buildings. Underground parking, a community garden, and a fenced dog run are included.
Courtenay: Planning in works for duplex development in Courtenay.
A new development permit application is expected to be made in the next six weeks to allow for the construction of approximately 8 to 10 duplexes. These new homes will be situated on a ridge behind the Casa Loma Seniors Centre and the three-storey design of the duplexes will feature mountain views.
