Comox: 52 unit affordable housing project for seniors in Comox moving forward. 

An affordable housing project for seniors in Comox is moving forward. The project includes 52 units in a new three storey apartment building. Knappett Projects will be demolishing the 16 multi family units currently on site. 

Courtenay:  Building permit issued for new 63 unit apartment building along Cliffe Avenue. 

WestUrban Developments Inc. has been issued a $9.45 million building permit for a 63 unit apartment building beside Cliffe Avenue in Courtenay.  Phase 2 includes a second building with 31 units.  

Bamfield: 76-kilometres of Bamfield Road to get $30 million upgrade. 

A 76-kilometre stretch of gravel road that connects Port Alberni and Bamfield will be getting a $30 million upgrade. The Huu-ay-aht will oversee the project.
