The City of Campbell River is inviting residents to help shape the future of our community through the Official Community Plan (OCP) update.
Since the project launched in early 2024, background research and community input have helped shape initial policy ideas. The City is now in Phase 3: Draft Plan Development. The plan is expected to be finalized later this year. The last comprehensive review of Campbell River’s OCP took place in 2012, with minor updates in 2015. Since that time, Campbell River has seen rapid growth and other changes. The updated OCP is an opportunity fulfil the community’s priorities.
Once complete, the updated OCP will include a vision for Campbell River alongside goals, objectives, and policies required to achieve that vision.
