The 19th annual “State of the Island” Economic Summit, hosted by the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance, will take place on October 28, 29 & 30, 2025, in Nanaimo.
his event brings together island business leaders, municipal representatives, non-profits, and investors to explore strategies for regional economic resilience and growth.
This year’s Summit spans three full days – each with a distinct focus and a shared goal: shaping a more sustainable, inclusive, and resilient Island economy. Activities include an Island Good showcase, a speaker series, and fireside chats.
